Brewer Media President Jim Brewer told Chattanooga Times-Free Press Business Editor Dave Flessner that the station would debut a new format with a new PD in January. “Being a small, single market cluster it’s exceedingly difficult to compete against national broadcasting companies who have so much syndicated programming and infrastructure,” Brewer told the newspaper. “I think we offered a good product and I will miss having News/Talk in our building,” Cumulus Media owns and operates market leading News/Talker WGOW-AM & FM.
