CBS Corp Restructures, Mason Extends Deal

The newly announced restructuring of CBS Corporation’s local broadcasting operations includes a contract extension for Dan Mason (pictured) who remains as President/CEO of CBS Radio. Meanwhile, WCBS-TV/New York President/GM Peter Dunn has been named President of the CBS Television Stations and will now oversee the company’s 29 TV outlets nationwide. Additionally, 31-year CBS veteran Anton Guitano has been tapped for the newly created role of COO/CBS Local Media. Previously CFO and SVP/Operations for CBS Radio, Guitano will now help to drive financial, strategic and operating objectives for all of the company’s local broadcast operations. He’ll report to CBS Corp. President/CEO Les Moonves, as well as to Mason and Dunn. “This is a good time for this move,” said Moonves. “Our TV and radio stations are gaining momentum week-by-week and are operating from a position of strength. I look forward to working with this creative and seasoned team of managers as we capitalize on the developing recovery and build a new paradigm for the future growth of our local businesses.”
