When retiring ABC News World News Tonight anchor Charles Gibson signs off for his final time tomorrow night, he’ll also end his run on ABC News Radio, where he anchors the weekday 5pm (ET) Information Network newscast. Beginning Monday (12/21), Gibson’s World News successor Diane Sawyer will co-anchor the radio broadcast with ABC News Radio’s Cheri Preston. That’s a jacketless and radio-casual looking Gibson receiving a parting memento for his radio work from network execs (l-r) Andrew Kalb, Steve Jones and Wayne Fisk.
