Kirby Wilbur Returns To KVI
December 15, 2015

Longtime Seattle Talk radio fixture Kirby Wilbur, who stepped away from radio six years ago after a 16-year run at KVI, is returning to the conservative Talk outlet on January 4th. Wilbur, who served most of his previous tenure with the station in wake-ups, will start the New Year in a brand new mid-morning time slot — co-hosting the 9-10am hour with current morning personality John Carlson, followed by a solo show from 10am-noon. During his six-year hiatus from the Talk radio biz, Wilbur has served as the first state director of Americans for Prosperity, chaired The Evergreen State’s Republican Party and headed the National Journalism Center in suburban Washington, DC. Commenting on his return to hosting a daily talk show Wilbur said, “I’m glad to be back with a new knowledge of the workings of the ‘other Washington,’ as we address local and national issues affecting all of us here.”
