Charlie Morgan has been named Vice President and Market Manager for Emmis/Indianapolis. Morgan succeeds Tom Severino who died last month following a battle with cancer at age 57. Morgan has had a 20-year career in Indianapolis radio, serving as an air personality, PD, Operations Manager and VP/GM at crosstown Cumulus-owned WFMS, WJJK and WISG. Most recently he worked as a partner with Emmis as COO of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Productions and Radio Network. I am thrilled that he will bring his deep passion for radio to Emmis and lead our stations as business conditions improve. Charlie is the right person at the right time and will build on Tom Severino’s legacy.” Emmis’ hometown radio station cluster includes News/Talker WIBC-FM and ESPN Radio Sports/Talker WFNI.
