» Cuomo Vs. Arbitron: It's Getting Ugly: With a green light from a federal judge to move forward with his suit against Arbitron over deployment of the PPM, New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo has opened an investigation into whether or not Arbitron execs "improperly sold company stock in advance of the radio ratings firm's disclosure of news that hurt its share price." That report in today's Wall Street Journal says Cuomo's probe of allegations of possible insider trading is focused on seven Arbitron executives "who sold a total of about $8 million in stock last year before the company disclosed a delay in the rollout of its electronic ratings system for radio. That disclosure and a related earnings warning contributed to a 15% drop in the company's shares in one day." Among the Arbitron execs the newspaper reports are being investigated by the NY AG are Pierre Bouvard, Owen Charlebois, Linda Dupree and Stephen Morris. Read the full story HERE.
