Talking about his just-added extra hour of hosting the new daily Imus In The Morning News Hour, McCord admits that a year ago, after the Imus crew was fired by CBS Radio, he wasn't sure things were going to work out the way they have. "We were always hopeful it would come back together," McCord told the newspaper. "But, it was by no means set in concrete, or even in quicksand.
