» "I'm Just Happy To Have A Job To Come To Everyday": That's what Don Imus sidekick/newsman Charles McCord tells New York Daily News' reporter David Hinckley in today's (11/24) edition. Talking about his just-added extra hour of hosting the new daily Imus In The Morning News Hour, McCord admits that a year ago, after the Imus crew was fired by CBS Radio, he wasn't sure things were going to work out the way they have. "We were always hopeful it would come back together," McCord told the newspaper. "But, it was by no means set in concrete, or even in quicksand. The company says a new format for the frequency will be announced in January. News/Talk clustermate WWBA also recently moved its programming from 1040 AM to 820 AM following Genesis' recent agreement to purchase the former WMGG from Mega Communications.
